Roswell has produced numerous film scores including The Hurricane, Baadassss!, Dawn Of the Dead, Let’s Go To Prison, and the recent Flash Of Genius. Over the last 20 years G. Marq has also produced many recording sessions for playback and various tracks for soundtrack albums. He has worked with notable talents such as Sharon Jones, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Mos Def, The Roots, Jewel, Lyle Lovett to name a few. As mentioned he has also produced many on-camera, musical playback sequences for films such as the The Great Debaters, The Commitments, Wild At Heart, Sweet November and The Thing Called Love.
He has also produced playback recording sessions with Nicolas Cage, River Phoenix, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Costner, and Sandra Bullock.
When you’ve locked picture, the last thing you want is a call from a music publisher or label informing you that you don’t have rights to use the song you’ve fallen in love with on your project. G. Marq created and manages one of the most successful music joint- ventures between Universal Music Group Publishing and Beacon Pictures. He signed the internationally renowned Irish vocal group, The Corrs. Roswell worked with the band for 4 years; eventually they signed with Lava/Atlantic. The group has since gone on to sell over 30 million records worldwide.
The venture also published numerous scores including Airforce One, Bring It On, Family Man, The Road To Wellsville, and Princess Caraboo.
Roswell co-arranged and Tanica Music published six songs on The Great Debaters soundtrack album.
Roswell 's BMI publishing company, Tanica Music, with partner Sony Music, signed Seattle band Mountain Con, produced by Tom Rothrock. Roswell 's ASCAP company, Scatback Music
and Tanica Music
continue to develop artists and consult for various film production companies.
